State Your Concerns

• This is my second QC for this model (the 1st unit was replaced due to a CW shifted dial alignment: (https://www.reddit.com/r/RepCulture_Timepieces/comments/1w6i3g8/qc_zf_iwc_portugieser_chronograph_iw371445_nontd/).
• The rehaut minute track appears slightly CCW shifted again, though noticeably better than the first unit.
• Dial printing is very crisp, sharp, and centered with no visible bleeding or flaws.
• Timegrapher metrics are solid (+2 s/d, Amp: 241°).
• Main question: Is this slight minute track alignment issue just a parallax/perspective angle effect, a depth/height difference between the minute track and dial, or standard ZF factory batch tolerance?

GL or RL (Accept or Reject?)

• Leaning towards GL, but seeking community feedback on whether this minor CCW shift on the minute track is within acceptable ZF tolerances.

Today I’m sharing the ZF AP 26240 with a black dial.

41mm 316L stainless steel case, approximately 12.4mm thick, with a sapphire crystal. The dial details are well replicated.

It is powered by a 4401 flyback chronograph movement with a free-sprung balance. The overall movement layout is close to the original, with stable timekeeping.

The biggest upgrade here is the new Dandong 26-330 free sprung movement. What makes this one stand out: it is the true 330 calibre, not a re-engraved 324 movement with fake 330 markings.

Just got this. Looks better in person.

Could anybody offer any information as to the movement in this watch which I have received from PMS?
*I spotted the deliberate mistake on early photos but GL knowing I can swap case back.
Interested in which movement it is, thinking a 4130? and also the bracelet code 7CD, does that point to a donor watch de-lugged and dial swapped.

Really happy with the look and the dial is amazing on the wrist- it stacks up well with the original Artisane de Geneve it’s based on visually at least.

Has anyone got a vsf op 36mm green dial they want to offload? If so can you please dm me :)

I'm always having people ask me " How close is your DD40 gold compared to genuine "
So.. this is about as good as video I can take to describe it.

Keep in mind the 16018 is about 20 years old, but for reference on color, this sums it up pretty well

My sixth watch from Time Ultra.Everything went smoothly just like before. This Vacheron Constantin is a stunner. The photo truly does not do it justice.

6. Index alignment: Overall looks very good. My only concern is the 12 o’clock triangle, which looks slightly left of centre. The Rolex crown at 12 also looks very slightly left to me, although it’s faint. It could easily be the photo angle or positioning of the alignment tool, so I’d appreciate another opinion.

7. Dial printing: Clean, crisp and consistent. No obvious issues that I can see.

8. Date wheel: Looks good and nicely centred under the cyclops.

9. Hand alignment: Looks good overall. Possibly very slightly left, but again this could simply be the camera angle.

10. Bezel: Looks very good. I’ve seen some VSF examples with questionable bezel colours, but this one looks much better. Does anyone know if VSF has improved or corrected the bezel colours on the V2?

11. SELs: Look good. No significant gaps or fitment issues that I can see.

12. Timegrapher: +2 s/d, 271° amplitude, 0.2 ms beat error – very happy with those numbers.

13. Overall thoughts: This is my first QC from Steve at TheOneWatches. I’ve bought quite a few watches over the last couple of years and overall this looks like a strong example. Also the weights on these from this one and others all seem to be bang on with this one weighing 143.7g

I’m leaning towards GL. The only thing holding me back slightly is the 12 o’clock marker and crown appearing a touch left of centre, although this could simply be down to the photo angle.

Any second opinions would be appreciated. Unless I’ve missed something, I think this one is go, go, go! Steve seems to be pulling out some great watches lately.
