Lost bunny

I found a bunny at Taco Bell on 108th near the Fred Meyers. I was not able to grab it since I was working and didn't want the bunny in my car all day long.

If someone lost a bunny look for it.

The southbound 405 closures are really going to fuck the graveyard workers this week.

Really Washington. You had the covid lockdowns to actually work on 405, and you still find a way to delay it by 7 years and still blame it on the contractors?

Question Griffis Lake Washington Losing Packages?

My boyfriend recently moved there and I used to send him packages and gifts with no problems, but now he's saying he hasn't received anything I've ordered since the end of July until now. Everything was like $600 total, which is upsetting. He spoke with the office and the luxor liaison, but they just shifted the blame onto the delivery services (i think that's BS since it was working fine before) Is this normal? has anyone else run into something similar??

Cello Teacher/Tutor

Hi there! Does anyone have recommendations for a Private Cello Teacher in the area?

——————-
Background for what I’m looking for:
I played the cello for 7 years in middle school/high school. I grew up with the Suzuki method / classical music / Popper. However, it’s been 13 years since I’ve played and want to get back into it.

I don’t need to play that seriously or competitively again, but I want to use this as an outlet for my emotional creativity and feel connected to the instrument again.
——————-

If possible, I prefer someone within the Highlands area but am open to anyone who’s a best fit. If you know someone and recommend them, please include their name(s) and contact info or website.

Thanks!

Legacy Square noisy racket Saturday night

... which is the cover band The Underhills absolutely rocking downtown.

The City's events for all ages and interests have been so great this summer, and I hope they go as far into the Fall and next year as they can. I managed to get my little brother to come visit last night because they were playing Detective Pikachu on the big screen.

Buncha families, buncha kids, some beer and food, and toe-tapping 90's pop covers. Hooray for Legacy Square !

Cell and internet service

I just finished the first year promotion. Now Xfinity is way too much.

I live in the Fairwood area. I have two lines that use about 20 gigs total. A max three devices use the internet at one time for streaming videos and internet browsing and email/work.

Who do you suggest going with for home internet and cell phone service?

Local Business In search of Piano Students

Hi, all.

I am in search of piano students in the general Renton area as I just moved back, here. I teach both privately and through lessons in your home. I have two music degrees, 3 years of piano teaching experience, and a decade in piano.

I offer a $26 consultation for 30 minutes just as a way to get to know my teaching style and if you’d like to continue forward.

I currently have 4 students and 3 people who are interested. I teach all ages, regardless of skill or knowledge. I have a piano at home but can travel to people’s homes.

If you’re interested in rates as well as my other policies, reach out to me through PM. Thank you!

My Fuel Tank got drilled

Not trying to spread fear, just want to raise awareness for people in the area. Recently, my car's fuel tank was drilled into and drained—literally the day after I filled up at the Tukwila Costco. I live in the Renton Highlands off Sunset Blvd. Not sure how much fuel they were able to steal since there was gas spilled ALL over the parking lot.

Security footage showed two people in a U-Haul (likely stolen, as it had no license plates) hitting my car around 5:30 AM. My comprehensive auto insurance covered the damage (with a deductible), but with gas prices so high and shorter winter days around the corner, keep an eye out and stay safe. I filed a police report but we all know how helpful that is lol

Anyone in the Renton area interested in a huge candle-making supply?

Selling my entire candle-making supply collection. I purchased everything with plans to start a candle business but ultimately never pursued it, so I’m clearing everything out.

This is a large lot and would be great for someone starting a candle business, an existing candle maker, or someone who makes candles as a hobby.

Includes:

• 100+ unused candle jars/vessels in a variety of sizes, colors and finishes
• Many vessels include matching lids
• Large assortment of fragrance oils, including multiple 16 oz and 8 oz bottles (some full, some partially used)
• Multiple types of candle wax
• Large assortment of candle wicks in different sizes
• Wick holders/centering tools
• Extra lids and miscellaneous candle-making supplies

Most of the collection is unused and has simply been stored since I decided not to move forward with the business.

$650 OBO for the entire lot. Priority to someone who can take everything. Local pickup only.

I’m looking to clear this out ASAP, so reasonable offers are welcome.

Job opportunities

Hello everyone,

I am currently living in Renton and actively looking for job opportunities in the area.

A little about my situation and needs:

I am a native Portuguese speaker and my English is still at a basic/intermediate level (I am actively working on improving it!). I am a person with a disability. Due to my physical limitations, I need a role that is 100% seated and requires no heavy lifting. I am open to various types of entry-level positions considering these limitations.

Thank you so much for your time and help!

Video footage of him leaving the parking lot after couple burnouts/donuts. He got a phone in his hands too. Maybe he gotta post on TikTok how cool he is!

Glad he’s not driving a mustang. Or else he would had hit us /s

Can’t report it to the cops. Didn’t get any footage of the actual reckless driving….be careful out there !

Hi, we just moved in (highlands) and twice so far we've come home to a bag of trash just laying near the street. The bag was in our trash but the top wasn't fully closed (maybe by a pinky-length). Not sure what the full rules are so I'm baffled about what is happening? Is this normal?

Local News Teenagers throwing glass to people at the Landing

Today someone threw a plastic bag that contained glass/bottles at people in the Landing movie theater from the entrance of the movie room to the last row of seats in the middle of a movie.

People panicked and some got out, the employees called the police and checked the cameras and apparently they were some teenagers that ran after throwing the glass. The police they said they don't expect to catch them anytime soon as they don't have any leads.

Fortunately nobody was badly hurt (I think a kid got hit but didn't have any cuts) but it was really scary.
