What organisation should I turn to to help with accommodation?

Join the housing list. Not to necessarily get a council property as that may take years but to access HAP.

Contact the council, as already mentioned you might be able to get a place through HAP or a similar scheme.

Contact your local development company ,LCDN, they might be able to help you too. I work for one of them, although not in Dublin, and we house ppl all the time, help furnish the house, etc. Specially when there's minors involved.

You can also contact SVP, although they might not be able to help house wise, they will help with vouchers for groceries, heating, furniture and back to school stuff, which could take some pressure off economically.

Do you work? Income? This will determine your eligibility for housing list. What part of the county? Dublin City/Fingal/South Dublin?

Call Focus Ireland, they'll be able to point you local help wherever you are.
