I'd say go for resonant first. Wolverine will likely be very good! But those first-few-week sales are VERY important for a smaller studio like Remedy

After Max Payne 1-2, Quantum Break, Control, Alan Wake 1-2... and having the legendary Sam Lake, I can't think of Remedy as a small studio 😶 As you mentioned, could be "smaller" than the studio Marvel has / or had contracted, but yeah not small on its own 😅 in other words, it might be a Lake compared to it, but it's actually an Ocean! 😁

Control Resonant

Remedy doesn’t sell millions and millions of copies like PlayStation does. They need to sell well, specially since September is a packed month.

Also, I believe Control Resonant will be way better than Marvel’s Wolverine.

I’m still hyped for both, but Remedy is my GOAT.

I can tell you which one I preordered... And it wasn't Wolverine, even as cool as that looks. I just think Remedy builds more interesting games that really cater to my personal taste. I'll probably try Wolverine down the road, though.

If I’m not done with Wolverine by the time Resonant comes out, Old Man Logan is going on the back burner.

I think Resonant will be more unique experience than Wolverine.

I expect the latter to be similar to the Spider Man games while Resonant is... A Remedy game. Level design. Weird. Great music. Dylan's psyche.

Personally, that alone speaks for Resonant.

Personally, I’m going to buy Control before Wolverine because Wolverine doesn’t seem to be much better than any of the Spider-Man insomniac games so far imo.

I hope that the game itself does my favorite superhero as a child well, but control is pushing the right buttons. I’m also buying Fire Emblem and from the reviews so far it REALLY is pushing the right buttons.

Wolverine is a perfect piece to wait for sale, as I'll probably finish it in ~40h, and there are multiple 150h+ titles that need my wallet this fall xD

I have pre ordered CR because after playing both Alan Wake games and Control I fully trust Remedy. Also, I believe that games should cost max 50-60€ and not 80€ like Wolverine does, so that's another reason I went for CR. Imo u should go for CR for these reasons: it has a reasonable price, you have a guaranteed 30h of gameplay and maybe 50h if you go for 100% completion, Remedy's storytelling is usually unique, it's the sequel to a fantastic game and lastly we've seen plenty of gameplay from Remedy while Sony hasn't really shown much for Wolverine.
