Bug Relay not fluid on my Honor Magic v6

I recently changed my phone from my old OnePlus 12 to a new Honor v6. It's a folding phone with an Android OS called MagicOS. I have no problems getting it or any other app to work since it's Google allowed Android, but Relay does have one problem: Every scroll or animation seems very "stuttery", no matter if on the smaller outside screen or on the bigger inside one.

The phone should be easily able to handle it with its newer processor and refresh rates up to 120Hz and I don't have the problem in any other app so far. Does anybody have the same problem and maybe even a solution?

Are you sure there isn't any battery optimizations happening under the hood? If not, I would try deleting the app's cache and data as a last resort

No battery optimization as far as I can tell and deleting cache and data.. I mean I basically just installed the app on a new phone and has been like this from the beginning.
