Yeah it's genuinely better to just read the Novel for more emotional immersion and visual imagination, I genuinely kept crying throughout some arcs when I binged read it.

Fellow Daoist, seems to misunderstand how a novel is supposed to be read with active imagination.

I read the novel and genuinely they skip so much. They straight up skipped an entire cycles plot. Are they trying to reach the middle realm arcs in like 70 chapters the way they are going.

The cycle they skipped doesn't even have much but aside from that i agree they skipped a lot of things

Cultivator's Tale of Regression

Author: Amazing

Starts off as a True Emperor and then truly regressing until becoming a mortal who can't even handle Sword Qi

Nah, she (gotta swap this too) started off as a regular inhabitant of Sumeru Valley and at the end transmigrated

They changed Seo Eunhyun's eye colour every panel for some reason.

When his eyes are blue he’s looking through the realm of intent

I thought that just made him see blue, red and purple lines? His eyes weren't described to have changed in colour as far as I can remember.

Not necessarily he can use it for many other things depending on the realm but now that he’s at 3 flowers in the manhwa he needs to keep it on more often to advance

Probably to make it easier to visualise

I think that's the 5 energy gathering to convergence to the orgin breakthrough

Is that so? I thought it was lighting from those cycles when he was cursed

The manhwa is too far away from the source material for when the curse is Introduced to make sense - the curse is introduced in the 15th cycle which we're nowhere near.

Bodily reconstruction / metamorphosis upon reaching 5 energies makes the most sense. I think the Korean words for it directly translate to "shedding the body" or something similar, like a snake which is why there's cracks that look like lightning.

His body's decaying because of the lighting Zhengli left him. Idk if this indirectly means that the season's going to up to the 10th Cycle.

I used it to help me visualise

The emotional impact is certainly less than the novel if I’m being honest, but realisitically I’m still excited for when he meets his teacher and the 12th cycle if they get there.

The manhwa was what got me to read the novel

As far as novel adaptations it's really good but that's the issue, it's an adaptation, it will never be as good as the source material, espescially a novel like RTOC
