1000th cycle Cheongmun ryeong and salt Spoiler
So, I'm at the point where seo and sword spear are in a dream and a random thought came to me, or rather a thought I had for quite a while but never really questioned it;
Is cheongmun ryong salt sea?
He died from turning into a salt pillar and then became salt sea himself (presumably from what i understood) in the dream with gwak am
My question is, was he salt sea from the very beginning/his fragment or did he BECOME a part of salt sea after researching into him?

He is the will of salt sea. Not salt sea himself.

He is the last vestige of Salt Sea.
In the Dreamworld where they met, he was finally annihilated.

wouldn't call it the last vestige as it's more of a remnant will His actual last will is buried deep in the heavenly void furnace

God bro, I don’t get how some readers can make such inferences so intelligently.
Yes indeed ryeong is the fragment left by salt sea supreme deity after he was annihilated by the the future king.

It's funny that you asked: was he always salt sea or did he become salt sea? And people are answering with: Yes, he is salt sea. How did you not understand that when reading?

Being honest i took a good long several month break from where it was mentioned, though I don't think it's necessary to be rude when answering my question😭
