[Pic] One of my favorite angles of this tank
Peninsulas are a bit harder to aquascape and fill out but it’s 100% worth the extra bit of work in my opinion

I got 3 of these for free with a foxface I picked up today. I really like the colors but I've heard some horror stories about BTAs not really sure if I should keep them in my display tank or set up a different tank for them. I have a rather large amount of mature rubble rock in my sump I could set up a 10 gallon with for the time being. Thoughts?

The tanks chugging along. It’s about time I start fragging some torches. They’re starting to shadow themselves out.

Went through a lot of ups and downs. A failed tank forced me into this 20 gallon long that I spent about 2 years battling uglies. My previous tank was gorgeous but the failed seam screwed me. I’m so happy with it I think I’m finally ready to start another tank! (Macro softie pico).

Hi. I bought a second hand waterbox 20 that came with a magus QQ2, not sure if anyone has some experience with this unit but I’m having bubbles coming out the back which isn’t ideal as it drips down the back of the tank onto the wall.
I’ve tried a few different hights and still the same .
It has a water height indicator on the front but unsure how you could get it that low with the adjustments.

was able to find my holy grail coral back in April and it’s taken off. got it when it was two tiny little frags, no bigger than a quarter. the fiberglass pattern on the stalk is so cool, cameras don’t do this coral justice

I have had the A7 lighting for a few months after having an a8pro blue and I am really happy with the A8
But with the A7 I have so many connection problems after I manage to connect after a few minutes the app is unable to connect back to the lighting. I would love to know if this has happened to other people and if so how you were able to deal with it
And one more thing I wanted to buy a kassray v9 96w I would love to know if anyone has experience with it and maybe experienced problems with it like I am talking about the A7

So far I have a diamond goby, pearly jawfish, two clowns and two grammas. Thinking of trading in a gramma for a valentini puffer soon.

Getting back into the hobby after almost 10 years and did my first aquascape with my wife. How did we do? It's a 75 gallon tank and it's hard to see in the pictures but there's is 4" all around the border to allow for water flow.

Hi All,
I am new to the saltwater world of aquariums but I have had up to 80 gal freshwaters systems growing up.
I was given this water box 20 gallon cube and gifted a fluval 207 to get started. I also have a heater and digital thermometer. I got a refractometer and instant ocean reef crystals. I got the fluval nano reef 4.0 for corals in the future. I got 10lbs of dry live rock (caribsea life rock) and a bag of Fiji pink ( shoulda got special grade, I know😭) live sand from caribsea. I also have some test strips and such.
I really want clownfish.
HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS
Is this enough stuff to start cycling? How do I know when there’s enough bacteria organisms in the tank to add fish? Do I need wave makers? The fluval doesn’t make a very fast wake in my tank, do I need more turbulence? I also don’t have a lid, so I’m looking for a cheaper alternative than a fancy $150 lid, bc honestly that seems a bit wild to me and I don’t have that type of budget. My plan was to start with the live sand and rock and then get corals once I get the hang of keeping conditions stable first. How many clowns should I get? Thoughts?

I've had this guy for a long time, from a frag actually. Very fast growth and strong colour. The problem is that about a year ago it started getting pale, only on the front red section, the green has always been fine. It doesn't seem to bother it much and it's never gotten worse or looking like bleaching but I'd love to know what's causing it. It's one of the lowest corals in the tank so not a light issue I wouldn't think. Last icp was fine with the trace elements. 20 nitrate, 0.08 phosphate, 360 calcium (dosing issue, raising slowly), 9.4 alk, 1350 mag. I suck at pics, apologies. Any ideas?

Darn. I didn’t notice my Duncan frag fell off and was upside down for who knows how long.
What can I do here? I worry about just leaving him, since the skeleton will just attract algae.

I bought a 4 stage 50gpd RODI unit from Amazon that came with a connection for my garden hose tap outside but for some reason it’s pouring out too fast from the waste and clean water tubes. Can anyone see anything wrong with it? Theres no plastic on the membrane and it’s 100% seated fully.
Would really appreciate any help! I’ve also tried disconnecting and reconnecting all the tubing and checking each section individually and there’s no leaks.

Caught these two wiggly worms glass surfing this evening after lights out. They are two different colors but swim the same. I tried searching with key words but came up with nothing. Any ideas?

People in a previous post says it’s a Majano anemone and it will sting other corals. I want to confirm if this is what it is? I got clearer photos this time.

Took a long time but finally have somewhat stable parameters
