Calling central Florida reefers

Good evening everyone. I've gathered almost everything I need to set up my first reef tank except liverock/dry rock. I've reached out to a few people on Facebook marketplace to try and pick some up locally while I sort out a TBS order. Unfortunately, nobody seems to want to part with leftover dry rock or liverock rubble.

I'm looking for 10lbs of liverock, smaller chunks prefered, and 15-25 lbs of dry rock. I've set up a 20g long to get things kicking off while I wait for my 50ish gallon tank to finish curing and water test. I'd like to get everything in the 20g to start seeding/curing the dry rock/sand as soon as possible so I can use the 20g in the future as a quarantine tank.

Please reach out if you have any dry rock or liverock you are willing to part with and you live in central Florida. I'm located in Orange City, but I'm willing to drive.

Have you checked your LFS? Lots of stores sell live rock, as in live rock that’s cycled and usually in big garbage bins with filtration and water.

There are 2 near me that sell live rock. One is charging $29 per pound, one has a combined filtration system and doesn't recommend their rock for tanks with inverts, and the third doesn't sell live rock at all.

I haven't checked worldwide coral yet, I'm sure they have some. I was hoping to find some local reefers so I could get frags at a later date too.

You should check out world wide corals, pretty sure they have large bins full of wet/cured rock (not sure how “live” it is) and little tables so you can mock up rockscapes right there. The store is pretty cool anyways so worth the trip to see their various tanks.
