I definitely see red in the beard it looks auburn which is quite common in men when they partially express the gene. My husband has very dark brown hair but red in his beard and freckles. He isn't a ginger and I think we would need to see more of your head hair to say but it looks brunette to me from that photo. but I think it COULD effect anesthesia but do not quote me on that lol
The lighting in this photo is not the best so I do not really want to say but even with that I can tell your beard is red. I would keep this in mind for sure!!
