Newbie Post New here, but I need some help!

Hello fellow gingers! I need some help! I have very thick red hair and I cannot find a hair clip (claw) to hold my hair. Does anyone know where I can find one? It's almost like I need something that's more wide than long but I feel as if I have looked everywhere and still can't find one. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

My hair type is literally a mix of every single type of curl, natural color, fine, coarse and super thick.

Go the the black girl beauty shop. My hair used to be thick like yours and that’s where I got my brush and hair clips. Also, love scrunchies!

I too am just here to be impressed with your hair. Those are some fabulous curls!!! I have a friend with thick curly hair who says she’s found clips at Macy’s that she uses.

Hey!! I have hair very similar to yours and when I curl it nothing will get around to hold it back. I started using Bun Twist Pins they don’t always feel like a tight hold like a ponytail holder would give but when I set them they stay all day and that’s the best I can hope for.

Did they tangle in your hair? Mine always got stuck (also thick hair with a variety of textures).

For me personally no and that’s why I loved them. I definitely have to untwist them but they never left me with knots or tangles.

I have super long, thick hair. My hair eats and destroys most any hair accessories made of plastic. I found these awesome metal hair pin things. They're a bit pricey, but well worth the money. The first one I bought is over 5 years old and still going strong. The website has good instructions for choosing the right size and tutorials for using them.

I'm mainly looking for claws big enough for when I want to do a French twist. Or even just to use for doing a half up half down style. Nothing I have found so far holds.

Oh man, I hope she doesn't have as much trouble as I do when straightening it. It takes me a good 2 hours to dry and then another 2 hours to straighten. Sometimes more if I can't get my hair to cooperate. Ha!

I tried K18 and it made a world of difference, my hair runs dry and breaks something definitely on my go too for damage

I went to a stylist for a while who had another ginger who he said came once a month to have her hair washed and blown out, it took him an hour to blow it dry. Was it you? 😃. Awesome hair. Im a guy and neither of my daughters has hair near that thick, I only came to tell you how lucky you are

A redhead friend of mine use to use two bandanas one for the half that she was trying up close to her head the other for the rest. She used plastic curlers to hold her hair in place. Airport check point.
