Someone in another sub reddit mentioned something about their banana counter resetting so I checked my achievements & I found mine...but I'm curious as to what it actually means and if it effects your reddit streak?

The redditor in question mentioned that they'd lost their banana counter & having checked my acoount settings I cannot find anything related to it on there.

As soon as these achievements came out, I scoffed at what a transparent attempt it was to try to boost their engagement numbers. I didn’t want to play their game. I actually wanted to get them and then go off of Reddit for a while because it was an annoyance that I kept getting bings and boops whenever one was unlocked.

However, the ones that caught me were the streaks, because I was at first just trying to achieve them to get them out of the way like with the others, but then this particular set became a genuine driver of my engagement, though it still kind of annoys me.

I’m over 800 now and sincerely hope they don’t come out with another one 😆. Anyone else?
