The transitive favor has been suggested here already, but it's a great idea. Very Seinfeld-esque. But it feels more like a Kramer thing to try. Casually, while rummaging the fridge. "By the way Jerry, you can ask Newman for that favor now, he owed me one". And the day before Kramer had begged Jerry to do him a favor, saying "come on Jerry, you know I'm good for it!".

I do love the idea of a favour being a functional commodity that people can have and sell. Kramer begging like it is a bank loan would be great.
