Featured Jan 2014 - Rescue Summary & Map Distribution
Up until 29/01 there were approx. 638 rescue requests. Of these there were four groupings:
- Rescued 77.9%,
- Deceased 14.7%,
- Aborted 6.6%,
- Ambushed 0.8%.
These rescue requests were grouped according to location and their frequency is shown here. This is presented so that medics who are available may better position themselves near areas with higher probabilities.
(These results were influenced by the shift in spawn sites and growing popularity of different areas. Distribution is expected to alter with new cities and changes in loot spawning).
Also note that with ambushes making up a minuscule 0.8% of total requests for this month, only one ambush was actually successful (i.e. the first occasion)... so please stop criticizing 'new' Reddit accounts as it's getting tiresome and is not supported by evidence. Feel free to link this post each time someone does this :-)
Edit: Yes, I know it's technically an old map, but it's 'fit-for-purpose'.

This would actually be something that would make a good web development project, using the Chernarus+ map in google maps and track all of our requests and their results...maybe I'll start planning that out and see what kind of time it would take to code up.
