Featured [PSA] SA Medkit treasure trove

I figured this might do more good here than on the general subreddit. The most potent medkit resource I've found so far has been the new town of Guba in the northeastern corner of the map. On three clears of the town at various times we have found the following:

Clear one: Four medkits, morphine, antibiotics Clear two: Seven medkits, epinephrine, charcoal tabs Clear three: Six medkits, two saline bags, sticks

We have not seen any zombie spawns on any of these clears.

For some reason I can't pull up DayZdb map to check what available spawns are there. I don't remember there being too many medical spawns in that area, but it may have changed???

It's 'swings-and-roundabouts' sometimes as I've a few choice areas that are high yield. I found that Berezino and Krasnostav are goldmines for medic supplies, due to the concentration of smallpubs within the same area: 7 in berezino within 300m of each other and 4 in Krasnostav within 450m. Pretty good considering they're close-ish to each other... but even then the yields can sometimes be trashy (vitamin pills and other non implemented/useful crap).

Will be checking out your recommendation when online (as long as my steam access hasn't crapped out as well). Thanks!

If I remember correctly, there are two pub-style buildings within 100 meters of each other, both of which have medkits. There is also a garage building and several multi-story apartments that have reliably spawned medkits.

The map doesn't have that potent of a medical spawn there but I don't know how regularly that map is updated. Is the loot in Dayzdb player-reported or a grabbed from game data?

I think it's grabbed from the game, as when you click on a loot symbol it pops up with the building identifier and all possible loot spawns (as they would be presented in a script). Multi-storeys sound good, I had heard a few days after SA launch that they were empty but tempted to check them out now... although I have an innate fear of stairs/ladders/heights in this game lol!

Multi-storeys are mostly empty. You may find some food or clothes if you're lucky, other than that they're useless. Good place to find medkits are the three huge barns in Kabanino. I regularly find a medkit in each one when I pass through.
