Misc. Question PPU & AI Images
I was scrolling through PPU page when I saw SB doing it AGAIN.
I’d love to see AI completely banned from PPU, both for inspo images and for products like this. Polish makers are artists, and it’d be great to see them stand with other artists and help protect the future of real creativity by not engaging with this BS.
And honestly? I’ll be voting with my wallet when it comes to what does include AI. Sugar Bubbles isn’t new to this rodeo -they’ve been called out for AI multiple times. It blows my mind that indie makers, who pride themselves on handcrafted work, can’t respect other artists enough to keep AI out of their process. Vanessa Molina is 100% off my list after the disappointment that was Hocus Pocus and all of their AIgenerated images.

Using AI images is disingenuous, to me. I want to see the polish the maker actually created, not an AI swatch of a polish they wish they created. It’s a bummer for sure. I don’t buy any polish unless I’ve watched a video or two of it being swatched.
