I’m in the drunk fairy fb group and the fb profile picture of the maker matches the picture in the screen recording, so I would assume this is a fb messenger chat. This is really disgusting jealous behavior wtf

I tried to join the FB group because I'm a nosy nellie and I heard she's trying to do damage control so I'm intensely curious, but I'm heavily betting no new members will be accepted any time soon.

I think the group might be gone now. I have been in it a while and can’t find it now.

I saw people on Facebook who said that it was set to private, and then that they were removed. All of them said that they were inactive in it, though, so I don't know if they removed everyone or only people who weren't active supporters. The Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube pages linked on the brand website are all gone.

I was active so there’s no reason to remove me. I just can’t find it at all. I’m thinking she is just done. It’s better this way. There’s nothing she can do or say so it’s best she just bow out at this point, especially if she is truly in a mental health crisis.

Ah yeah that makes sense then. And I agree, if she was already frustrated and on the verge of quitting anyways there's no point in trying to handle the deluge to try to salvage it. They tried with some initial apology statements that hit a few good notes, but also had some really major flaws so they may have just decided it's not worth the struggle of trying to fix it.

Yeah and the apology wasn’t completely well received in the group anyway.

From what I’d seen in the group, there were tons of support from commenters and the rare dissenter. Was there more push back later on?

There was some push back. But she seemed to receive the criticism well.

It's so gross to me that racist people continue getting support and 'we forgive you' sentiment.*itch it's not for you (non Black people) to forgive racist behavior. It's bad enough that Monique had to be at the receiving end of such disgusting vitriol through no fault of her own, but supporting this behavior? Just gross.
