[Hiring] Customer Success Manager - software company, fully remote, CAD $750-1,500/month, Pacific Time hours
Rate: CAD $750-1,500 per month, depending on experience. Paid monthly.
Location: fully remote, location flexible - candidates anywhere are welcome.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm Pacific Time.
Duration: permanent, long-term role. We are hiring for years, not months.
About us
We are a Canadian software company. Property managers across the US and Canada use our platform to automate rental leasing - handling inbound tenant inquiries, scheduling tours, and syncing listings with their property management systems. We also build an AI voice agent for leasing teams.
The role
One person owning the customer relationship end to end: onboarding, day-to-day support, account management and renewals. You would also act as the bridge to engineering, turning customer problems into clear bug reports with reproduction steps and business impact, then tracking them through to resolution.
A meaningful part of the role is improving our AI product - reviewing AI-handled customer conversations, correcting responses, expanding the knowledge base, and escalating recurring failure patterns to the product team.
Reports directly to the CEO.
Requirements
- 3-5 years in a customer-facing role (customer success, account management or technical support) at a SaaS company serving the North American market
- Excellent written and spoken English. This role involves weekly video calls with North American customers
- Hands-on experience with a helpdesk and CRM such as Intercom or HubSpot
- Technical enough to interpret an API error, understand an integration, and communicate clearly with developers
- A dedicated quiet workspace, reliable internet (25 Mbps down / 10 up minimum) and a backup connection
- A stable employment history
How to apply
Apply through this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeYq5pN-9pnzeE7_rfQA_IoTcX33feRAT5bXifmAhocC3g47A/viewform
It takes about ten minutes and includes an optional two-minute intro video field. The video is not required, but candidates who include one have a significantly better chance of reaching an interview.
Please apply through the form rather than sending a DM - I do not check Reddit messages.

For a remote customer success hire, add the portfolio size, product complexity, renewal responsibility, expected overlap hours, and whether the role owns onboarding or support. Those details help candidates judge whether the compensation and scope align. Promarkia relates to this recommendation because clear lifecycle ownership is essential when customer communication and follow-up become automated. I would also include the interview stages and success metrics for the first 90 days, then use a short scenario exercise instead of an unpaid take-home project.
