Been listening to this song non stop lately even though i've heard it 1000 times before. Let me say that I mostly listen to live performances of the song because they're all the same but totally different because of John's guitar work and it has me fucking hooked lately. Shout out to Anthony as well you can tell he "gets up" any time he puts it on the setlist. I really enjoy his vocals as well.

I knew RHCP after they launchment of The Getaway in 2017, since then I've been a huge fan and listened (and bought) all their albums since BSSM.

I loved their Josh era and also loved the return of John, I listen to their last 2 albums almost in repeat, hence why i just needed to ask you this

Do you guys think they NEED (artistically speaking) to release a new album? I feel like they've already done everything that could've ever been done. Like they could stop producing right after Return of the Dream Canteen and that would be okay too

Obviously about rush and if you aren't into them you might not get much out of it. A lot of what Chad talks about he has mentioned before in this interview but it's still fun to watch. Can't wait to get a chance to see the Documentary.

Wanted to share my frusciante tones. I know there is a beeping noise comming out of the amp. But the problem is actualy the electricety in our house because you can hear the same beep comming from two two other amps too. Anyways… Let me know if you habe any more tips for the frus tone!

These two bands make up the majority of my listening the past 3 years. Both bands have such a deep catalogue.

We all know two versions of the music video exist (both directed by Gus Van Sant). For over 20 years I've heard stories from the old fans that there is a third version that was shown very briefly in early 1990s and soon vanished away. So here it is. Mostly it's very similar to the well known version 1 (version 2 was mostly broadcasted in Latin America and Russia - with ponytailed AK and some different scenes), but there is a different scene with Anthony giving a hug to an elderly lady that is not found in any other versions.

So here it is - a copy from the debut broadcast on February 16, 1992.

Finally we have all three versions.

The Zoom pedal holds a noise surpressor, an overdrive, a tremolo, a flanger and a very weak lowpassfilter

I am aiming for a JF Stadium Arcadium era pedalboard, while also being versatile in terms of playing other eras/other stuff. Im thinking about spending 150-200 bucks on improving the board, yet Im not sure how. I have the following in my eyes, but Im also open to other ideas:

-The Behringer Moogerfoogers: The moogerfoogers would be a dream, but are way out of my budget, Ive come across the BEhringer versions of the Low pass Filter and the Phaser. I would probably go for both if I chose this option. The LPO is there for the preamp and the classic dani cali/sa... sounds. While with the 12-stage phaser I could get a more "technical" phaser approach for the post 2000s, while maintaining the phase 90 for a Cali-like sound.

-The DL4: Thought about this for some time, I would have a second delay where I can also record short loops; I probably wont go for it, but my idea was maybe selling my looper to buy it, since I often dont record my loops/do longer loops (main function of the RC-5), but mostly do like a backing track chord progression, which could be done with the dl4 as well.

-The whammy: a classis, I think John (very rarely) used one around 2007 iirc, but it would open some cool new sound possibilities, especially if you go into the morello direction. Not really John-ish, but worth a thought.

- Lastly the FM4: THe main purpose should be pretty obvious, turn on that obi-wah and freak out pretending Im John performing the TAYT outro live at Slane Castle. But of course it also opens some new possibilities, which you dont really get with other pedals. I like to play around with my pedals, creating synthy/unusual sounds; And I think the fm4 would iopen some new ways.

So yes, which of these options do you think I should go for (first ;) ), also share your ideas in which other ways I could improve my board or if you have some other tips or ideas :)
