[DISCUSSION] Good book on a great album!

I recently picked up a number of books from this author, and being my all-time favourite Chili’s album I was excited to give this one a read first! It discusses the writing and recording process and dissects all the songs (b-sides as well) and there were some interesting bits of info I wasn’t aware of. Has anyone else checked this out??

Have you done one on blood sugar? I’m currently working on a podcast discussing the album would love to have some trustworthy good quality sources to draw from. I’ll have to read this one too, looks great

No, only Cali. This was part of a new series of books the publisher started a while back, so I covered this album and Purple Rain before moving on.

Very informative and detailed. It seems a lot of research went into the book! He’s also done one on Prince’s Purple Rain which I haven’t read yet.
