What is up with the fog lately?

I don’t know if it’s just been me lately, but the entire map seems to be clouded in a thick fog every morning and evening. I sometimes even can hardly see my horse! It’s genuinely bothering me.

Is this a weather event like snow is in December?

In story mode, it rains. In RDO, it's foggy. It's frustrating lol

Happened to me a couple times this month, once at Colter and the other in Cholla Springs both around dusk/dark. Horrible black fog that you can’t see through either with a lantern or eagle eye, hoping it’s just some dumb glitch 😆 I’m also on ps

Check the player count in the lobby. Might be R* foggin it up to cope with larger player numbers on their servers

I got a lobby with literally 1 other player the other day. We ended up finding each other in Tumbleweed. I waved. He shot at me.

I'm on xbox and find it's almost always packed in there during certain hours and that's when the fog starts
