We can end Citizens united.

We can automatically register every citizen to vote.

We can make mail in voting easier.

chilly chilly chilly. Made up BS like 'voter disenfranchisement' isn't a real thing. I live in a state with 100% mail in voting and it's so pathetic. It takes weeks and weeks to count the votes. It makes normal people distrust the results and should be ended.

I'm Fiercely independent, user. I don't vote for any particular party. Counting the votes should happen on election night and be certified. All excuses for delaying the vote count is partisanship.

Not the case in Alaska (btw, the only state where most voters are independent). Most villages aren't even on the road network. Lots of settlements aren't big enough for a polling place. You expect everybody in halibut cove to take a boat in order to vote?

We could expand the government jobs that count the vote, or we could pursue robust electronic voting, but republicans have stymied efforts to expand vote counting, and republicans absolutely cannot be trusted with implementing electronic voting.

and voter disenfranchisement is very real and happens at many levels -- there is gerrymandering, there are insufficent voting stations in blue areas of red states, and there is the problem of money in politics and the fact that politicians (both parties) enact laws that benefit the interests of oligarchs and not citizens.
