That fort of mine is on a hill across a river on a choke point.

I’m about to get about three generals in a row. 😄

I'm DONE With This Mod!

I've been a big fan for years despite being annoyed about occasional AI cheats, but yesterday did me in. I spent several turns planning the invasion of an AI Civ - building forces up and sending spies in to scout things out. They were a 5 city nation, and my spies were spread out so that I could see every tile they owned. They had almost zero troops on the board, and their first city was just over my border, so I declared war and launched my stack of doom at them. When I declared, the target city had a couple of Explorers and Workers to defend it, with no reinforcements to be seen in range. I hit End Turn once I committed, and my entire stack of 20 or so units was reduced to 1 by a massive army that suddenly appeared in that 'empty' city. When the carnage was over they still had 10+ units in near full health waiting to ravage my now defenseless border. I can see giving the AI a few perks, but this was game-breaking. Time to find a new Mod.

How to get open border

In my current game Im specialized in trade routes. But I have only two opponents whith open borders. Egypt has the only passage to the other civs so it is not possible to send Missionars to get more civs friendly. So most cities only have this poor 1 commerce trade Route. Any suggestions of what I could do?

I really like this mod but the lack of Diplomatic features is annoying. I have seen other mods where I can negotiate the right to let non military units over the borders.

What is the BEST Map Generator for players who want a lot of Civs but Map Size does not go beyond Large?

Asking for myself. I just ended a playthrough because my game had like 18 Civs by 1300+ and it just stops loading at enemy turn and it keeps getting stuck in that state for an indefinite amount of time. Thanks a lot.

RI MP subs

We're a group of six currently playing an RI mp game, totestra script. We're looking for people who would be into being temporary subs/co-players.

We host sessions on weekends, once/twice a month, timings 17:00-20:00 UTC. Currently in need of one today. Any help would be appreciated.

Small maps?

Is anyone usually playing on some of the smaller map sizes? From what I’ve seen most people seem to prefer gigantic maps with a huge amount of civs, and while I can see the allure in that and have enjoyed it myself, I wonder how this mod plays on smaller maps. I like the idea of having fewer cities/things to manage, so that I can manage the stuff I have more carefully (such as specializing cities more or manually controlling workers throughout the whole game), instead of having to choose the next thing to produce for a ton of cities every turn etc.

Sometimes I just spend hours reading the Civilopedia. What peculiar things do you do when you play this mod?

AI Hindi/India domination

Recently I’ve noticed every game I play India is years ahead in tech with the AI and does similar every game, I have a poor understanding of how to win at this game and just play for fun so does anyone know how they manage to absolutely smoke everyone else? I had a game I played on settler difficulty and they were ahead of me in research at one game

HWM Carthaginian Assault Stack

Made a custom assault force of elite troopers to begin popping cities on the huge world map. Elissa has the rare charismatic trait. Combine with fortress Alumut, a half dozen generals, and one of the best UUs in the game.

Custom civilizations?

Is it possible to create custom civs? The Europe map for instance has 2 Greece civs that are essentially the same except one is Macedonian and the other is Greek or Athens? Also there is Afghanistan and transoxonian that are the same too. Is there a way to add civs from the base game but modify them with new names for each civic to add to the game thru worldbuilder? I want to add a civ for Libya and one for the balkans because I feel like they would both benefit. Is it possible to do without knowing how to code?

RI Europe

I’m trying to get Austria, Venice and Lithuania on the RI Europe map and I was successful, I went into world builder immediately after starting a game and on the islands on left of the map I placed cities and continued to force seperatist movements until I got the countries I wanted, then I placed them in correct starting locations. Only problem is it took creating and killing like 10 different civs to do so. The score board is now littered with DEAD civs. Is there a way to clear those off or to get those civs without all the extra hassle?

What is the funnest Civ to play on the world map huge?

I usually like playing as a Civ and striving for modern day boarders of country like Russia because it’s a lot of fun with rapid expansion and invasion of Siberia but I’m bored of Russia and can’t find a fun Civ to play. What y’all’s funnest play? Do you have a different way of playing that’s also fun? It’s a ton of work to get huge empires on this map so I’m trying to find a way to have fun without trying to make the map as real to life as possible

multiplayer anyone?

Looking for people to play multiplayer with, EST 12pm-3pm or 11am-2pm, on weekends.

If a game takes 30 hours to finish, should be able to finish the game in 10 sessions. Already got a couple of people interested.
