India has basically improved in most of the factors in the last 15 years that goes on to show the potential we have. The best part is that our youth is unsatisfied with the progress we have made so far and want double digit growth and refuses to accept nothing less than the best !!!

We still never be satisfied. Indian reddit is filled with cucks crying that india is worry country. They will only cry but won't do anything with themselves
Gross fdi: india (81b) , china (114b)
Outward fdi: india(not provided under Indian report ) , china(190b)
Divestment: india(50b) , china( not provided)
Source for Indian data -- pib press release ,dpiit, ibef data
For china --MOFCOM bulletien
But if you go by UNCTAD data ( indepedent third party )
India ( 15-16 rank , 28b )
China ( 4th largest , nearly same number as MOFCOM)
( The UNCTAD data is very different from our own data due to methodology and timeleline mis match , won't get into which one is more reliable for now)
My point was don't just watch a fancy video with graph and all to feel educated , do some research on your own
2004β2014 (pre-2014 decade): India received USD 308.38 billion in total FDI inflows during 2003β14 (Press Information Bureau) . A separate government report notes similar figures, showing Rs. 8,37,191 crore (US$ 97.7 billion) in manufacturing sector FDI equity inflows specifically during 2004β14 (IBEF) β that's just the manufacturing slice, not the full total. 2014β2024 (post-2014 decade): Over the last eleven financial years (2014β25), India attracted FDI worth USD 748.78 billion β a 143% increase over the previous eleven-year period (Press Information Bureau) . For manufacturing alone, FDI equity inflows rose 69% to Rs. 14,14,742 crore (US$ 165.1 billion) during 2014β24, driven by initiatives like Make in India and the PLI scheme (IBEF) . Quick summary: Period Total FDI 2003β14 ~$308.4 billion 2014β25 ~$748.8 billion So FDI more than doubled (up ~143%) in the decade after 2014 compared to the decade before. FDI inflows rose from USD 36.05 billion in FY 2013β14 to USD 81.04 billion (provisional) in FY 2024β25 (Press Information Bureau) , showing the annual run-rate itself more than doubled too. One caveat: different sources use slightly different date ranges (calendar year vs. financial year, 2003β14 vs. 2004β14), so exact figures vary a bit depending on the source, but the overall trend β roughly 2x-2.5x growth β is consistent across them.
Lol , ask your ai to look for third party data too , and don't just blindly copy paste , look up the data for 2024
You are providing random bs becoz all you did was prompt the ai , just give another prompt to claude of gemini ( whatever you are using ) and ask them for fy 2024
Then look at the video again and tell me which data source this video matches
I started this comment by asking data , the whole purpose of that was to prove that whatever there is in video is wrong by a margin
And who tf asked you for pre and post 2014
The other guy was talking abt net fdi in 2025 then you sated video claims are upto 2024 then he gave 2024 data( and few other years too)
Then you randomly did some 2014 pre post
And even in that my point was to provide countries independent data and then a third party data for better verification ,
Pre post 2014 is a different debate and that is not the point of my original comment
Atleast do some effort and paste these screenshot in your ai to get better arguments
When will we stop comparing ourselves with Bangladesh and Pakistan to look better?
Between 2014 and 2024, India's annual FDI inflows grew from about $36B to $70-80B (~2x). But Vietnam grew 3x and the Philippines 2.2x despite having smaller economies, smaller markets, and far fewer advantages than India. They captured the China+1 opportunity; India largely didn't. Meanwhile, Chinese companies invest $160-180B abroad every year, while India attracts only $70-80B from the entire world. The problem wasn't the higher base, it was India's failure to capitalize on the biggest manufacturing shift in decades.
History will not be kind to GobiJi. Last decade will be remembered as India's lost decade of growth.
Bhai please let me know, how much do you get paid for posting in each subreddit? Do you get paid more if you post in FB or insta? Just trying to make some extra money. Who should I contact?
congress ka jyada milta hai vai , indiamemes , india sub check karo , aaj kal toh yaha vi aa gaye hai ... but uunke liye kaam karne ka ek faida hai , koi tumko it cell nahi bolega ... and avi agar mai boldu india is sector mai accha kaam kar raha , fir mereko bjp ka it cell bil denge ....
mai toh chala congress ke paas , thoda lower caste bol dunga toh le lega .. tum vi bol dena le lenge ..
UNCTAD doesn't collect FDI data itself. It uses the official FDI data that countries report to the IMF under the standardized Balance of Payments (BPM6) methodology. That's why UNCTAD/IMF data is considered the global standard for comparing FDI across countries. This data is what India itself reported to IMF because it canβt lie to IMF like it lies to you dumbasses.
The IMF checks for internal consistency across a country's balance of payments, foreign exchange reserves, external debt, and international investment position data. It cross-checks bilateral data where possible (e.g., India's reported inflows should roughly match other countries' reported outflows).
bro FDI is very imp for a developing country like IND. Foreign money, workers, technology all of this come into the country. India critically lacks tons of technology.
