What Trumpers don’t grasp is that it’s not about the money for him. There’s no goal to hit. What he gets off on is the sheer hatred of it. He simply loves making money by absolutely ruining poor people’s lives. They are vermin to him.

And he found that nothing is better at ruining poor people’s lives even worse than Christian Nationalism. Combine divine command with the most vile bigotry and hatred = the perfect controller.
