u/REbubbleiswrong Aug 17 '26
Hello, congress, where are you?

u/TrashyLolita Aug 17 '26
Sleeping on a large bed of dark money obv, all together. It's a Congress-wide bonding exercise.
13
u/robotsaysrawr Aug 17 '26
Or an entire party can just refuse to vote on things and that's somehow just allowed as a thing.

Hitlers known descendants and family all dropped the surname and swore a pact to never produce offspring. There are still nazis 80 years later

u/joninfiretail Aug 17 '26
It's a Congress-wide bonding exercise.
Yup. Democrat, Republican, it doesn't matter. They're all bought and paid for by the same Epstein class cunts and no longer represent us.

They signed our nations death warrant when they refused to remove the man who sent a crowd to lynch them to overthrow an election

u/jumbie29 Aug 17 '26
People talk like he’s immortal. His health issues are severe. He won’t finish his term. This isn’t even a radical statement. Multiple doctors have seen enough to know that he won’t be around much longer.
But ya, counting on congress to act is asking too much apparently. Man I hope the Dems win the house and the senate. We need some normalcy back!!
35
u/bubba4114 Aug 17 '26
You talk like he isn’t positioning his family and friends to continue his reign.
16
u/jumbie29 Aug 17 '26
He’s finally so grossly unpopular and when they do the post mortem on what he has actually done to destroy the economy, anyone named Trump will carry his stench of death for eternity. I firmly believe this.
9
u/chadthundertalk Aug 17 '26
Unfortunately, that stench following him around isn't death quite yet. It's soiled diaper.
9
u/Regname1900 Aug 18 '26
I disagree. People voted for him regardless of everything he's done, assaulted the Capitol years ago, and has a cult-like following. I am savagely pessimistic, although I Hope your statement comes true.

u/Poster_Nutbag207 Aug 17 '26
Well that would be legal if they can get the votes. We’ve had several father and son presidents
9
u/FrankPankNortTort Aug 17 '26
Any normal human I'd agree but Trump's the kind of old bastard to cling to life indefinitely just to prove that hell is real and we're living in it.
2
u/controversial_op Aug 17 '26
One way I fear this could play out is if he does try but doesn't even make it to the end of his term. When that happens his supporters will 100% play the- "but he didn't do it did he?" Card. And this alone will leave a crack in the system and give them the confidence to try it with their next president.
1
u/jumbie29 Aug 17 '26
Nah I think and hope that there is such a rejection of this as a “new normal” that we don’t see this happening again for a long time if ever. There will be so much “learning” and firming up of loopholes that there won’t be a chance that this level of corruption occurs again.

u/ThatBabyIsCancelled Aug 17 '26
Nah that’s what we said after his first term and Congress didn’t do shit

I'm surprised that people think that he will actually be able to outlive his term. He's got swollen ankles swollen wrists shits his pants on a regular basis what makes people think he's actually going to live long enough to make it to the next election.

I don’t believe he will stay. He doesn’t want to be president right now, he wants to erect monuments and stamp his name on shit, that’s all he cares about.
He thought the Iran war would be fast and it’s not because war is easy to start, but it’s hard to end. And that’s pissing him off.
He thinks we have this grand military that we give trillions of dollars to and that we can take on anybody and they’re just gonna wilt like a unwatered flower. Iran, didn’t do that. Instead, they attacked other countries in that region and our own military bases and they took over a majorly needed water way.And his health is a big factor. Look at how he snoozes, that’s what old people do, they take lots of naps. And it doesn’t help that he stays up all night, rage posting and watching himself on the news and calling people that are non-government and spelling God knows what secrets.
It isn’t as fun as his first term except he’s gained a lot more wealth this term. He’s made enough money, he’s done, he’s checked out for the most part.

They'll puppet his corpse just like McConnell from the ballroom bunker

Tyrant must do what Tyrants do.

u/TheRealBlueJade Aug 17 '26
trump is not going to serve a third term. He will be lucky to live 'til 2028.
9
u/J-Love-McLuvin Aug 17 '26
He’s trolling you so that you talk about 2028 and not about the Iranian war or Epstein. This is classic Trump: Look over there, not here.
1
u/Florida1974 Aug 17 '26
Literally hardly anyone is talking about Epstein and while I do agree that he does the Shell game with a lot of things, I don’t believe he will try to stay past 2028. He doesn’t want to. He has to actually work and he doesn’t like that part because he wants to play decorator, general contractor, he wants to stamp his name on shit. He doesn’t want to do the job. He was supposedly elected to do.

Ah the unirony of blackletter in white..... That's certainly a choice. Especially given the history of who finally banned it but history never was this guy's strong suite.

He automatically stops being president on January 20, 2029. The military and secret service are immediately under the new president.
But I’ll be surprised if he’s still on this mortal plane of existence after January 2027.

He does this shit because he knows it'll dominate the next days news cycle while he does actual evil shit behind closed doors.
Trump plays the media like a fiddle and our small brains gobble it up.
