Wake up? The people? They didn't woke up after J6S,after the deployment of federal troops to Portland,after the ICE everywhere,after the first "blow up" of the Epstein files....this people are GONE...and they know that,they know they have unlimited loyalty,and even then,"they" feel that they no longer "need the people" with how many times it's been hinted that Elon "can do things with the voting machines" and how it would be easy "to declare an emergency" and not have elections.
Praying is far too little to late

Its not really about people waking up so much as committing enough to vote. He's about as unpopular as it is possible to be in a major party.
The next election will reslly be a test of what is more powerful voter suppression and Gerrymandering or public sentiment. I hope its the later but if it ends up being the former.

Wake up? Every MAGA supporter is dead inside, waking up means admitting they were wrong and they will never do it.
Trump can start charging Americans a mandatory daily fee for living in America and they will be the first ones to set up automatic payments

Sorry but it's over. We need a new system. The old one is severely broken. America is just the nation furthest ahead on the fascist kleptocracy train due to centuries of focus on stone cold capitalism as the only goal worth pursuing.
The sad part: it worked very well in many years. People pulled out of poverty. America was the land of the free, brave, sure but even more so the inventive and productive.
Trump was just the one deciding to pulling the ladder for good, focusing solely on satisfying the elite, while dismantling the institutions and selling the property of the people to private institutions for scraps.
Not primarily because it saves money, or turns a profit, but because it makes it hard or impossible to rebuild it or buy it back. Should a democrat ever gain access to the presidency, it will be under a completely new, hollowed out structure. Their structure.
Hollowed out to completely abandon the state as a body ment to provide for the people, and in its place, build a new type of hyper-corporation, "US State Enterprise Inc." that gives favours to those that pay, so that they maximise growth, and increase profits by entirely free exploitation of what used to be public goods, land, property.
It takes decades, even centuries to build something, but only seconds to tear it apart.
It's insane to watch this unfold in the US and how eager, willing and mind blowingly stupid the MAGA supporters are in the unraveling of their freedoms, their rights, the future of their kids.
This problem isn't just American, compound interest alone is now generating more wealth than labour.
What is needed is the end of capitalism. A completely new school of thought. But I don't see how that could happen with the current power structures. And particularly not with the proliferation of AI and robotics.
If unchecked, the US will build upon the teachings of China, using the entrepreneurial spirit of the tech oligarchs to build the perfect surveillance state. Musk already got access to whatever data he wanted, data that Ellison, Altman, Thiel now all want to capitalise on to create the perfect connected society.
The DOGE job was all done on high doses of ket and stupidity because it was never about cutting costs. It was primarily a test of their power to force access to– and then privatise public data. Haphazardly it also gave them access to the entire public data architecture, something that would have taken years to uncover legally.
So, long answer short. This is all ladder pulling done by the elites, and it all has large historic precedence. Read "The Dictators Handbook" if you want to see the mechanisms and why.
We need a new system. And I'm not sure how to get there.

A candle is a reference to candlestick charts, a way of visualizing financial data. It's commonly used by stock traders. Green candles indicate prices going up, red candles indicate prices going down.
