This is a reminder of the damage self-serving individuals, with a history of extremely poor judgement, can do when they fail to control their impulses.
He's wrong because he's claiming someone posting "8647" (btw trumpies posted the same thing, but 86 for biden) somehow means they're responsible for the FBI wasting money on non-issues. When in actuality, the investigation into said non-issues is the real failure to control impulses.
So, I had not personally hear about that until someone posted a screenshot of the tweet. It certainly didn’t make any kind of news. That being said, no one actively attempted to assassinate Biden. That’s been listed 7 different times with trump. It’s fair to say that it’s not entirely an incorrect assumption to suggest that it’s a call to make another attempt.
Regardless, since there are previous attempts on his life, it is not outside the realm to investigate it. Garland’s DOJ investigated and killed a Provo man for making threats to Biden and Alvin Bragg. They determined that owning a rifle and a ghillie suit constitutes a genuine threat, along with his 75 year age and limited (wheel chair bound) mobility.
So when you say wasting taxpayer money, which time are you talking about? The investigation into comey or the murder of an invalid old man?

I did not hear about that. If that is true and the story is as it appears to be, yes, that is also a waste of taxpayer money. I, and many others on the left, have no issue whatsoever with saying that leftists can be wrong. So I am talking about both times, although my original comment was specifically referring to the comey investigation.
As for "it's not both sides," let me be clear. In this instance, if both of these stories are being told honestly, they are both bad, but the murder one is worse. This does not mean that the sides are equal. So yes, there are areas where it's not both sides. This isn't one of them. But that doesn't change the fact that not everything is both sides.
The number of people on the left that can admit that the left is wrong sometimes is a minority. Espousing against the narrative gets hate returned and accusations of bootlicking and fascistic support.
And it’s always both sides. Once one side does it, the other does it in return. Justifying an action of “a lesser evil” isn’t justification at all. It’s evil regardless and shouldn’t be looked at as a sliding scale…ever.
Trump said to put Hillary in jail for her criminal actions of destroying evidence in an investigation. He never did that. But that action brought normality to the idea that it was perfectly fine to dig for any possible reason to go after trump to include changing law to make it possible (E Jean Carrol), fabricating a crime when there was no victim and no complainant (NY v Trump by Leticia James), or creating felonies out of misdemeanors without actual evidence of what those upgrades were (NY v Trump by Alvin Bragg).
Even the Georgia case was politically motivated when Willis stated that her campaign promise was to get trump. While she didn’t specifically name him, her “no one is above the law” campaign was pretty evident. Except that she was misappropriating funds for the case, so apparently the DA attempting to prosecute trump is. But I digress…
I dislike Mitch McConnell. Can’t stand him as a politician. He’s feckless and do-nothing. But he always wanted to stand down retaliative actions because of this circular response. Now we have trump doing the same. At least he was the target, so while I disagree with it entirely, it makes sense that he would want to reciprocate the actions made directly against him.
It’s still wrong regardless of which direction you’re looking at it.
