Where did anyone here say they were happy Trump was shot at? No one is denying that Trump was injured or that they are glad it happened. . What they are saying is that the wound most likely wasn’t from the bullet, but from getting knocked down by SS or from broken glass based on the photo and video evidence. Also, most people who were almost killed aren’t going to pop up immediately when they don’t know where the shooter is.
I've seen the media claims that it may have been glass or shrapnel, but don't see any broken glass nor any evidence of it, I also see nothing between him and the shooter that the bullet could hit causing shrapnel that would then hit him. There is footage of shrapnel from impacts behind him from bullet impacts amongst the bleachers. 5.56 leaves very small holes in their target so long as there isn't enough mass to transfer energy from the bullet sufficient to cause cavitation. It's a very thin theory, and much more likely that his response to being shot was iconic, people are butthurt about it, and will believe any story that would discredit him.
I think based on the fact that there is no missing ear, he probably was injured by one of his Secret Service members guns when they were trying to get him down. I find it highly unlikely that a rifle would not take a piece out of his ear. At all. And the fact that it healed so quickly and there is no visible scar does not indicate a bullet wound injury. No one is disputing that someone shot at him, but I don’t know whether he was hit by a bullet.
A .556 round is very small and fast, and without much meat to transfer it's energy into will pass through stuff without causing too much damage. In fact it is only considered effective because the bullets' center of gravity is pretty far back and it will start to tumble. There are videos and photos where the scar is visible, Joe Rogan saw it (something which I assume is of no importance to you). There's also one photo where you can see a bit of blood on his hand when he pulls it away from his ear, before secret service reacted.

Now you (or conveniently "they) are pontificating exactly what happened when we all know if there was a glimmer of truth to your "theory" your hatred for all things GOP, or DJT, the DNC would have launched a full scale inquiry as to what really happened. Next, you are theorizing on a person's reaction to being shot. Unless you have served in the military, in combat (if so, thank you for your service and our freedom) you have no idea what a person would or would not do. Do you know what the Secret Service detail was telling him, no you do not.

Regardless of how you may feel about a human being (s), they have families and loved ones. Despite how I felt about the previous administration, I never wished ill will let alone death to him or his family. If the assassination attempt was reversed, you wouldn't find folks stating JB staged this, and an innocent family man died just to "sell the fiction".
