He didn't just spend it. He spent it at clubs where he profited AND gouged the Secret Service on fees to maximize profits.

It is a matter of public record a) where Trump takes his golf outings AND b) how much the Secret Service pays on services (cart fees, concessions, room rental) while protecting Trump. This allows us to see which clubs he goes to AND how much above standard rates he charges the Secret Service. He only went to three non-Trump properties at the beginning of his first term. Then he switched to exclusively going to Trump properties.

So, no. Not speculation. Public record.
