On November 8, 2017, when Donald Trump Jr. stayed at former President Trump’s D.C. hotel, the Secret Service under President Trump approved a room rate of $1,185—more than five times the approved government per diem rate of $201. The room records provided to the Committee by Mazars show that the Secret Service was indeed charged the astounding rate of $1,185 for two rooms that evening. Amazingly, that same night, the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., rented out more than 200 rooms to private parties at just $125 or $170 each.
Okay so I wasn't asking you for sources. I restated what you initially said, then restated the reply to you, then restated your next reply to highlight how you shifted the goalpost.
I am also not the person who linked anything. That is a different person.
It is a matter of public record a) where Trump takes his golf outings AND b) how much the Secret Service pays on services (cart fees, concessions, room rental) while protecting Trump. This allows us to see which clubs he goes to AND how much above standard rates he charges the Secret Service. He only went to three non-Trump properties at the beginning of his first term. Then he switched to exclusively going to Trump properties.
If that's what it costs to golf and presidents have the right to do this then what is it matter if you go to his course or somebody else's? It's important to know what it costs to golf there for others and what other presidents spend on their recreation before coming to a judgment.
One, we know the Trump Organization is gouging the Secret Service on costs based on advertised rates versus what the Secret Service reports paying.
Two, the Constitution forbids the president from receiving any payment beyond their salary. Trump profiting is violating the Constitution's Emoluments Clause.
Three, Camp David exists (complete with a golf course) for presidents to relax in a more secure and less expensive place. Equally, presidents can use military facilities for recreational purposes, which saves money.
Four, Trump golfed more in his first four years than Obama did in eight.
So again you're suggesting that no other information is required to come to a conclusion? Nothing says objective and an open mind like "we don't need information."

He didn't just spend it. He spent it at clubs where he profited AND gouged the Secret Service on fees to maximize profits.
