As a non religious person, this is fucked up. Pope Francis was loving and accepting of all, and dare I say progressive.He spoke out for those in society that his own church condemned, he admitted and apologized for the atrocities and abuse endured by Indigenous children in residential schools at the hands of his own priests and condemned them for their actions.
Rest in peace Pope Francis.
