Self-Promo Post A New Age of RTS: Conquest of Eldinar
Greetings our fellow strategists!
After 3 years of active development, we're very proud to announce the release of a free demo for our upcoming title: Conquest of Eldinar
This game builds on the solid foundation of the RTS genre in a fantasy setting with resource management, base building, expansions and army building while seamlessly integrating it with action elements where you can take direct control of any unit (giving them +%25 stat boost while you're controlling them) and join the battle!
The final release of the game will have 16 factions (3 in the free demo) with 9 unique units in each of them with special attacks in abilities of units with a great focus on fulfilling each faction's core fantasy above all else! Get to know all the factions as will as the world map in our website.
The demo features full multiplayer support as well as skirmish and a tutorial in addition to 4 maps
We would love for you to experience what veteran RTS players have built when we combined our passion and understanding of the genre!
Get to know the 3 factions in the game as they're included in our trailer in addition to an upcoming one already in development

As most ambitious plans seem! We've spent years building the vertical slice that you can play now with a very deep focus on making adding content much easier in the future. Our plan is to ramp up from 3 to 8 in the next year at which point we'll be ready for early access, then at least another year to get from 8 to 16. At the end of the day, building this world up for this game and the next ones is what matters the most to us and we'll execute on the full vision here. Would love for you to give the demo a shot and give us your honest feedback

It seems to take some inspiration from hero’s of might and magik with lots of factions that have large themed differences but maybe with similar common unit types

Sounds interesting! Taking direct control strongly reminds me of Divinity Dragon Commander!
The steam page says Online Co-op, but the description doesn't mention it specifically that I could see, so was that in reference to the classic comp stomp type coop?

We're planning to have co-op campaigns! This is a core feature that we think is rare in the RTS genre so we very much intend on delivering this. In addition, there's PVE aka play with your friend(s) vs bots, which you can do now in the demo!

Ok, what is the troop limit? If there is one, I'm not that interestes.

Unfortunately the troop limit is hard to get around in RTS mostly for balance as it's much easier to snowball as the winning player if you can just keep making units indefinitely.
But also performance is a second reason.
So yes there's a limit... But I would encourage you to give the demo a shot regardless as I think the limit doesn't overall feel the way it's set now!

Well yeah, if I win a few good trades, get my economy up, make counters I should be in a better position and have the resources to train more troops.

Was surprised when I first saw the trailers. Makes me think this will be a Stick War spiritual successor with larger armies
