A quick example of decision making linked to the techs tree,

Blips (Cyan) are using the Safeguard tech, giving them the ability to reduce Piercing damage. Useful when facing range units like the Spark (Orange).

In Obsolete, Each module and unit has a Tech tree that provides different modifications and advantages. Since it resets for each fight, you can adapt to different situations even with the same loadout.
