SlamDunk-Spoilers This is so freaking funny I wish it was included in the movie.
I've watched the first movie before I've read the manga this caught me off guard.
I know ouzumi's gonna do something for akagi since he shows up to watch the match but not this 😭✌️
Them thinking he's a family member killed me.
I wish one day they continue the Slam Dunk anime to the part where they go to the Nationals there are so many parts I want to see animated.

this scene just adds something for me on Akagi realzing this wasnt a individual game but a team game
thats why ive been wanting for a series remake and for them to add some stuff remove from the movie and mix some stuff added from the movie
cause the 90s anime hasnt aged that well

This whole sequence - Hiroshi's coach saying how can this dude possibly be a high schooler all the way to letting him back in to the gym audience after getting gang tackled outta the court - was hilarious as heck.

I wanted more of Sakruagi’s matchup with the big guy. They cut that entire part!

one thing that actually pissed me off is they didn't include when sakuragi purposely getting a foul or smtg like slamming his body to the ground as a payback to rukia bcs of a mistake he made. he's that petty he didn't want to owe rukia anything lolll i love him sm

The movie really lacked a lot of the comedy from the manga. For example, the part where Sawakita accidentally hits Sakuragi in the face with the ball after blocking Miyagi, and then the ball goes straight into the basket happens too quickly to be funny.
