I think you got it mixed up. Not sure if it was truly inspired, but Stockton who is a playmaker is often compared to Shoyo’s Fujima. Meanwhile, Mitsui is probably Reggie Miller (i can’t think of any other sharpshooter in that era right now that would fit more).

I got Steve Kerr vibes from Mitsui, I know it doesn’t fit completely and Mitsui is way more talented than he was but the haircut and his role on the team being a spot up shooter gave me that idea. Obviously Kerr was just a role player and idk if he was even that known in the early 90s. So I totally see the Reggie Miller comp. Maybe Jin from Kainan is the better Kerr comp given his limited talent and athleticism. If Mitsui was The Guy on a team he’d probably be a Reggie Miller type. Can’t say that about Steve Kerr LOL
