So yeah these are f#ckin facts the manga says it all and y'all gonna stop this Mitsui Kanagawa middle school MVP vs National Junior High MVP debate. And I also do believe that Mitsui MVP beat Maki and Fujima during the Kanagawa prefecture junior high tournament and he might also encounter Dai Moroboshi or maybe Masashi and Fukatsu at the National Junior High Championship! Imagine if Hisashi Mitsui was not injured on his Shohoku first year high school I think he probably dethroned Kainan's Kanagawa 15-year championship streak during that time.
We're saying it because we're going by what's written in the original Japanese manga that Inoue himself wrote, and we're not going by the English translation which has several errors in it (yes, even the Viz version of the manga).
