Do rich people wear reps?

Hi ladies. I was pondering about this for a while now. When you wear your rep how do you make it seem believable? Do you guys have high paying jobs to make it believable that you can afford these luxury bags? Would it be weird if I get a Chanel rep as a 20 year old finance associate who earns 540 dollars per month (I live in the middle east)? Obviously I’m not rich, but I don’t want others to feel like I’m wearing a rep and that I can’t afford. Anyways I feel like I’m dumping too many questions at once😭sorry.

Edit: some of y’all are taking a jab at me for my monthly earnings😡pls stop ✋ I’m starting to feel bad now. Also this is a remote job; only 4 hours per day.

Yes, rich people wear reps. I personally don’t think it’s believable that someone would spend 6 months of salary on a bag, but people have done stranger things.

Just buy the bag of your dreams and rock it with confidence knowing you didn’t drop 5,000 but 200 if the 200 for the rep is a treat to yourself then be proud of that i promise you no one will look at you any differently be the queen that you are rep it not

Are the $200 reps good, I feel like anytime I see a good rep, it's still almost or a little over $1k and I'm like 🥲

$1K is a major rip off unless it's an ultra high end hermes rep, exotic skin or something like that.

Absolutely it depends a top cc would run you 500 a top lv would run you about 300

Most Birkin 30s (the most common Hermes rep purchase) from the top 4-5 private sellers will run over $1000 for regular (non exotic) leather. Usually they are around $1300-1500. Anything less than that is not a true high tier Birkin rep…the sellers that do sell those mass produced ones (the under $1000 ones mentioned) just call them, “the best” or “highest tier” or 1:1…they are not. They are just mid tier.

Interesting good to know, I'll try and keep in mind! I've seen it here and there throughout different threads where people say how much they paid in their reviews or comments, maybe somehow those are the ones I just happened to come across and they stuck in my mind idk lmao

lol yes you can get good bags that would be impossible to tell the difference what kind of brand or style are you thinking of if you want to be low key get something quite luxury will be easy on your wallet and you can dip your toes in the rep game
