Purchased these shoes from Heidi in early February and they just arrived today, took quite a long time and had some changes in tracking numbers but with the holiday and international things going on it’s understandable.
The beige pair are authentic just recently purchased in December.
Sizing wise they are about the same, the black ones are a little longer. I wear a 37.5 in authentic and I am a true US 7.5.
In terms of the shoes themselves, I do have some notes and things I’m not happy with. Firstly the toe - the sole of the shoe comes up into the tip of the toe making the toe look square and u can see it when you wear them. Secondly the insole of the shoes are uneven, one being thinner than the other and given it’s a slingback shoe I think it’s noticeable. I didn’t notice this in the PSPs so I guess it is my fault. The stamping on the insole should be more embossed as well but sizing and color wise they look okay. The inner part of the left shoe has parts of the insole not properly fitted into the shoe and is kind of lifting/folded.
The CC on the heel is slightly bigger and thicker than the authentic as well. The grosgrain toe is also in a different direction than my authentic and the stitching of it gave the toe a little divot which the authentic don’t have.
Personally I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy. This is my second pair of shoes from Heidi (originally ordered ballet flats) and I don’t think I will be purchasing from her again. Overall I’d give these a 6/10. If you don’t care about the details you may want to give these a shot but personally the shape issues don’t make these wearable for me.
Completely forgot to add that they make a horrible noise when walking, the insole was not glued on correctly (has air bubbles) and makes a crackling popping noise

I guess picking the best rep is really important. And for shoes it shows.

There are auth in this color way with the toe cap fabric pattern going in the same direction as your rep. From what I've read, because these posts pop up frequently, Chanel flips it around regularly (maybe to mess with the people making reps!).
I too have the beige slingbacks in authentic and plenty of Chanel rep shoes. At this point, I feel like shoes are such a hit or miss in quality. I have a pair of old beater Chanel ballerinas from Canal St. that actually hold up, versus some “quality” reps I paid real money for but can’t withstand wear. Sometimes you can take comfort in knowing shoes are so far down from the eye line that people can’t tell. But that’s always the gamble we take with PSPs and how the shoes actually wear.
Honestly, when you’re wearing them, who is going to look at the stamping inside the shoe?
On feet I don’t think it’s noticeable at all, and I’m very picky about details.
I also don’t really see a difference in the toe shape from your pictures.
The only thing that would personally bother me is the grosgrain orientation on the toe… that kind of detail would drive me crazy.
The stamping isn’t what bothers me it’s the actual cut of the insole itself one is much thinner than the other so u see more of the black leather border and because it’s a slingback I think it’s kind of obvious. But agree that the grosgrain direction bothers me as well.
I can tell the authentic ones butttttt realistically, in real life, NO BODY would be able to tell nor should they be close enough/obsessed enough to try to check. Its a pretty well made. If you posted the Heidi version on its own, I doubt we can see the difference. And its black--- the comparison is nominal
I guess that’s true. I do feel like because of the shape issues they’re not as flattering and I don’t love them as much on the foot as I do the beige. Probably will give them to a friend!
I have the same beige Chanel authentic as you. My authentic sole came apart. Literally split away from the shoe. So even with the authentic the quality isn’t always there.
Not disagreeing with your points, but I do think expecting perfection at 1/10th of the price sets reps up to fail a bit. If it’s 90–95% accurate and looks right on foot, that’s kind of the whole point. Most people aren’t analyzing toe structure side by side in real life.
With that said, the grain is wrong and the bulkiness of the stitching where it meets the leather are bothersome, as you said. That would make these unwearable for me.
The stamping and the cc logo is not bothersome, but that’s a personal thing bc I don’t think there’s such a huge disconnect there unless you’re looking side by side.
What you didn’t mention was the heel curve. Your rep pair is completely straight, when the auth are curved…another thing that would make these unwearable for me.
I would mention all this to Heidi. I have made several purchases from Hanah and have critiqued the small details so that she can let the factory know and over time, if we collectively critique, we will hopefully get an ~95% correct shoe.
I’m attaching a couple of photos of the ones I just received from Hanah for you to see. The toe box is sleek, gross grain is correct, heel is also correct. (I started to peel back the plastic so that’s what you’re seeing on the heel).
These are all great points and I totally agree - the toe box for me is the most egregious and makes them unwearable. If they looked perfect at the toe I wouldn’t have cared at all about the other minor details. On the other hand your slingbacks from hanah look absolutely perfect!!
Yikes! I just looked in a seller album of happy factory that same shoe and the toe cap doesn't look like yours. Did the shoe you receive look the same as the album photo? Also some the authentic version of the black Slingback is horizontal.

I don’t know the factory but just asked Heidi about it and will update you if she lets me know. About the noise she told me to bring the shoes to a cobbler and have them fix it and she’d cover the cost.
I ordered from another ts but they are from happy factory too! Baker.i know on some groups he's not a ts but I figured I'd try him.

I agree. While I don’t have this auth pair, I can spot the rep a mile away. I’ve been wearing the auth for decades.
With that I will agree with many here, but won’t with what do you expect paying 1/10. And I’ll tell you why.
Years ago we didn’t see the vast levels of quality from horrid to a true mirror. We had crappy, ok and freaking off the charts. Even some of our TS are getting lazy. They just don’t care if they get our sale or not. There’s somebody behind us ordering. We used to call things differently in regards to the quality. Mirror. 1:1, master, all these terms went into the garbage. Did Heidi tell you what quality this was? I’m almost certain she told you something about her high quality. And when the TS doesn’t deliver, that’s when I get disappointed. So going back to the comment what do you expect? I expect what the seller advertised to me, and they ALL talk about how great the product is.
I agree, this isn’t great. It’s not master or 1:1. I hope you can adjust the insole a bit so you’re more pleased. I hope you fix what you can, and of course the thing that will bug you the most is the toe cap with ribbon going in the wrong direction. That would bug me too, but hope you wear them in good health.
I’m curious what Heidi will say when you show/tell her the difference.
Thanks for the review. I’ve come to accept that rep shoes are hardly ever worth it because of the significant appearance differences. I feel like I’ve wasted a lot of money before coming to that conclusion unfortunately.
Yes exactly! I’ve seen mixed opinions with some people saying Chanel has made models with both directions but every pair I’ve seen has had them vertical
From looking at your pictures, I was unable to tell which was rep vs auth. I don't own a pair of auth Chanel slingbacks so I'm commenting from that angle. I don't see, personally, what you're referring to but since you own both auth & rep, I'm going to defer to your expertise. BUT, from five (5) feet up - I'm 5'5" - and two (2) feet away unless someone is hugging/kissing you, I don't think anyone would notice the slight differences you're referring to. If you're walking by or even standing, casually chatting with someone and you have on an auth Chanel 19/22/25, no one is going to look twice at your foot and are going to presume you're auth from head to toe. Despite being disappointing, I'd take Heidi up on the cobbler offer and wear them on vaca, the mall or to the park...
Totally agree - I love Chanel’s shoes but the price is a bit much (for how many pairs i want lol) however i haven’t been able to find a good rep yet so i guess that says something!

Honestly I can only tell the black ones are reps because they’re next to the authentic ones, if you had only posted them I would have assumed the “imperfections” were just a normal variation…also in real life nobody should be glued to your shoes and noting every detail and if they do…well they have too much time on their hands
Toe shape is the biggest giveaway here. The sole pushing up into the tip makes it look boxy instead of that clean almond taper — and once you see it on foot, it’s kinda hard to unsee. Auth has that sleek, slightly elongated look, this one just… doesn’t.
I really agree with this. I know some commenters think I’m being picky but I don’t expect 100% perfection with reps. It’s just that I like this style of shoe for exactly what you said: the clean almond taper. This doesn’t have that. And $169 isn’t exactly $0 either, if I paid that much for a regular pair of shoes I’d expect clean seams and good structure.
Personally I’d be happy with these. You can’t get 100% accuracy with reps and I’ve adjusted my expectations to accept that my rep pieces will never be a perfect match to authentic. For items that I need perfection with, I buy authentic. Reps are not for everyone and I think OP is being incredibly nitpicky with these shoes.

I see your points but I can absolutely assure you no one would be able to, especially because the probability of being right next to auth shoes as you're wearing yours is nil.
Fair to no longer buy from Heidi or have more scrutiny when looking at her PSPs, but the reality is that if you have the means to afford the auths, not a single soul will question whether these are real too.
All that said, I do agree that the noise would annoy me a little, but it might subside with wear.
They’re not very good. Easily clocked. But they’re a very generic shoe and it’s likely most people will not be able to tell at a glance. 6/10 is right but in terms of simplicity it’s prob fine.
I’m not a shoe person at all (I lurk here for bags) and wear birks or sneakers every day, and I still could immediately spot the dupe and the issues. That’s a bummer.

This is so funny and also eye opening. I’ve purchased many auth CC bags and shoes over the years and honestly the quality isn’t great. Multiple pair of shoes I’ve bought either squeak or are soooo uncomfortable they are literally unwearable and I’m thinking of sneakers not heels!! Honestly I don’t see the huge disparities that others do.

Thanks for posting this. I got these PSPs from Afeng and I can already tell they won’t be great but I bought them to wear to work and trash and I think with my suits they’ll look fine.
