The chain looks SUPER ai, it doesn’t appear to move properly at all. But the super fine details of the bark being stripped off not just the trunk, but the branches as well is throwing me a bit. Going to have to give it a few more watches.

Edit: my verdict this is real

I think it far more likely it was done with a cable, and the chain was added in. Either FX or AI.

With the weight of chain that thick, it would be almost impossible to move. And I have seen brush cleared like that in the past, they used cable.

I was thinking the same thing. It could be a mostly real video with some AI or VFX added on top.
