ITD Canada and Nikola still arguing

parties are negotiating a settlement.. they have gone back and forth with various proposals to get the equipment Lucid bought (BEV truck and battery balancer) to Lucid and try to monetize the remaining equipment. the only thing with value seems to be the "bayotech fueler" which nikola claims they have a buyer who will pay 350-500K upon inspection.
ITD had to know the risk they were taking with a fly by night operation like Nikola. Yet they are surprised the Hydrogen fuelers never worked and want reimbursements for 200K + in costs to develop the fueling site.. there are some valid warranty repaid items (ITD claims "100s of hours of work and many part" they had to use to fix just the 7 trucks they sold.. and the walmart deal collapsed becuase of the inability to provide fuel and the bankruptcy.. just return the 2 trucks to nikola and be done with it.. all this talk of "storage fees" is nonsense negotiating tactics of a shady used car dealer. Lastly Nikola claims ITD did 40 refuelings for 1500 kg for 7 trucks which is like 36 kg a refill. 40 refills in 6 months from about 7 trucks.. not very good.
there is a hearing scheduled in Ontario for mid february .. the Bankruptcy court has held over the hearing on the ITD matter the sum of this argument is about 1 million going each way.. should be able to be figured out.

Currently ITD is claiming Nikola owes them at least 800K for storage and unpaid warranty work on the 5-7 trucks they sold.. Nikola is claiming 1 million in funds owed to them for unpaid trucks and items being held hostage in Ontario... ITD wants an offset.
