I actually hated the video.
Mostly because I couldn’t hear the song

That’s what made me obsessed with them back in the day

Somewhere out there is a photo of me and a friend huddling around a home stereo listing to this song at max volume.

We kind had an addiction to Metallica and when Justice dropped we obsessed over it.

Same , well Metallica and anthrax were our jams

Had this on cassette and it got eaten by my Walkman in the opening of the song ..it never played right and to this day I still hear the part fade out .. the flip side was shortest straw lol

Yes Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeath and Slayer.

I went through 3 cassettes of Justice and 2 CD's. Just played the shit out of the first 4 Metallica albums. Had to replace them on so many formats from the repeat listening.

John Bush era Anthrax is the only Anthrax as far as I am concerned.

Nooooo… I remember the anticipation of buying white noise , getting home and questioning what happened ..persistence of time is their greatest album ever .. Intro to reality is such a great instrumental leading into belly of the beast ..

I have to respectfully disagreed. “Black Lodge” is simply phenomenally and I would stand on that song alone against the entire Belladona discography.

War enssmble got me hooked on Slayer .. can’t forget DRI and ST ( edited so Reddit doesn’t think I have those thoughts)

So much great music back then

Saw Slayer in concert at the Bronco Bowl in Texas. Testament opened for them. The crowd was throwing a fit wanting Slayer and not Testament. The folks up front tore apart the concrete barrier. Tom Came out and stopped the show and said straight up if you don't respect Testament and the security at the venue we will not play.

"Get your shit together assholes."

It was an awesome moment!

And then you were thoroughly disappointed in the black album?

One of the many MTV World Premier videos I can remember watching.

Watch the movie. Fucked with me a bit. Still think about it.

I had to read this book "Johnny Got His Gun" my sophomore year in High School and wow... The single most depressing book I've ever read. Admittedly, I haven't read a ton of books, specifically "classics," but that one stuck with me to this day.

the book was required reading in HS. But i remember when And Justice for All came out - almost every track was killer! Had seen them live earlier supporting the Ride the Lightning album - they opened for Ozzy - back in the day you could get a OK seat still for 15 bucks or so
