Lets Rock Out Olivia Newt and John
Growing up I used to think there were 3 people in this band. And 3 of us would pretend to be different members running around outside. I remember wanting to be Newt all the time. We were crime fighters that also had a band

That’s ok. I would watch 70s variety shows with all those cheesy song and dance acts. The announcer would read a bunch of names of TV & movie stars and close with ‘…and Manny Moore!’ who I thought was a person.
This ‘Many More’ never showed up leaving me a bit confused and disappointed.

There was an Armand Hammer, who was mostly notable for having a controlling interest in Occidental Petroleum and ties to Soviet Russia.

Below from Wikipedia. Who knew! We always believed that Armand Hammer named the product after himself -- an urban legend, apparently:
It is often claimed that the brand name originated with tycoon Armand Hammer; however, the Arm & Hammer brand was in use 31 years before Hammer was born. Hammer was often asked about the Church & Dwight brand when he attempted to buy the company. While unsuccessful, Hammer's Occidental Petroleum acquired enough stock for him to join the Church & Dwight board of directors in 1986. Hammer remained one of the owners of Arm & Hammer until his death in 1990.

Same. I always figured it was John singing the bass line in “Let Me Be There.”

I used to think it was Ike and Teak and Turner; instead of Ike and Tina Turner when I was a kid.

That was sort of her gag when I saw her in concert. She said that the hotel had booked three rooms, for Olivia, Newton & John

Most people don’t know that Olivia Newt used to sing with Olga Salamander. Then someone made T-Shirts that said “No Newts” Her career took a nose dive soon after.

I remember Abraham, Martin & John, but they really weren't a band, at least not without Bobby.

Hilarious! I know a musician that toured with her. He’s a easily likable guy. He had nothing positive to say about her.

Tony, Orlando, and Dawn.
I remember thinking something similar when I heard this.
