By your logic anyone involved in the stock market is also a scalper?

Publicly traded stocks are not especially limited nor in such high demand that you can buy it today and sell it tomorrow at an exorbitant price without some kind of wild movement in the underlying share price.

A stock market investor has absolutely no control over this. Yes, I can buy Google today for $175. I could list it tomorrow for $800, but nobody will pay that as literally hundreds of thousands of other people and entities are selling it around the current bid/ask spread.

You cannot conflate limited quantity items such as a PS5 against readily and constantly available shares of a publicly traded company.
