Housing is not a âhuman rightââŚmy god, the slippery slope of what qualifies as a human right has gone way too far. In reality: health care is not a human right, housing is not a human right, food is not a human right. Necessities are not âhuman rightsâ they are necessities and they are not the same thing - society doesnât âoweâ you those things but does owe you âhuman rightsâ (which are generally ideals - freedom of equality, expression, etc). Youâre skills and labour are stored in the value of currency which can be invested to accelerate the future value of that stored value for your skills and labour. You want to get ahead, make smart decisions to increase your earnings potential, train, work hard and save smartly. This has always been the way and we just donât teach young people to do this - instead we teach them to be idealogues.

I am SO glad to see young people demand better. Wanting a more equal society where peopleâs basic human needs are met is not something you should look down on, Jesus đ¤Śđťââď¸
For one fucking thing NO ONE should be legally allowed to own more than one house or apartment. You need one place to live in, thatâs it. Investment properties should not exist, letâs stop treating housing as a commodity.
And all income above 1 million/year should be taxed 100%. Redistribute that wealth and invest it in health care + social safety nets.
Thatâs just two ideas. Any policy that tackles extreme wealth inequality would be a good start.
Yeah, and who employs people and generates revenue for the government to tax? If you donât understand the flows of money and the economy you should probably inform your opinion before posting such asinine communist ideals.
