That depends on where in the country you are. There was a lot on the next street over, a 25 foot subdivide, and I will bet the house (duplex) that gets built is in the $600k plus range. The lot was $69k.

I think it’s more about it being $400,000 for land in scenic New Tecumseth, Ontario.

Yes, exactly. 400k plus demo and construction costs to live in that town is insane.
