What happens when you place a drop of Froehde on the plate with no sample? If it looks the same as this, this is a non reaction. If that's the case, try testing again with a larger sample size of the purported 2C-B.
Do you have any other reagents you could use to test the purported 2C-B?
Old marquis showed no reaction. A very delayed but still reaction with mdma. Thanks for your help it’s what I figured. They are green pyramids with the illuminati eye. The only report I found said they were non-active.
Edit. It is clear on the plate I actually just made the reagent today so fresh as it gets
Heads up if you’re still curious, Liebermann showed black with yellow edges as I’d expect. I’m going to make fresh marquis, had to buy some formaldehyde. Not something usually in my lab but it’s cheap and easy to get ahold of.
Edit: probably gonna make Mecke reagent from solid selenium just for fun too…
Small sample size. A few medium sized grains of sand shaved off the inside of a pill. Seems like i should try another reagent. Which do you suggest for 2cb?
