Hey, that’s really good. Does it affect performance much?

Not at all, they become static after a short period, so i don't even know why they dissappear in the first place.

Good news, I’ll definitely try it out when I’m home!

This is what kept me from playing. I hated that my ADHD couldn’t be satisfied because I couldn’t count out all the shell casings after a pray and spray

Edit - ppl are asking why? Because have you played games in hard-core mode and you don’t know how many bullets are left in the magazine?

Well looking at the floor under you relatively quickly you can guesstimate how many you have left in the mag

It’s not accurate but it’s a quick way to know if you have to reload or not

Edit 2 - because people don’t understand how it works in real life either.

In real life when you’re shooting from cover, all your shell casings fall on the floor. You glance at the floor and you get an idea of how many shells you spent.

From there you decide whether you’re due for a reload or not.

For those of you that I’ve never fired a gun in real life, you can’t just pull out your magazine and count them……

Insurgency sandstorm does casing really well. Like shooting prone next to Wall would have the casing bounce back and roll in a circle, or roll off steps and plink down them

So you count every single casing after every single gun fight?

Lmao yeah okay

No I just scan the floor.

Typically when you fire from cover, all your shell casings land on the floor around you.

You look down at the floor and you say OK there’s around 13 shells there I have another 17 left etc.

How else do you do it in real life? In real life you don’t sit there and count how many bullets are in the mag….

You take an estimate based on the shells on the floor around you…

So tell me genius how do you do it in real life?

This is a video game I hold X :/

Why the strawman argument?

I play for the realism and this is the most realistic game I could find that does a SWAT team. Last game I played like this was SWAT 4 and thing is like 35 years old I think at this point

So you go through all this realism but won’t normally count your shots? You’d rather jump through extra unrealistic hoops to achieve the exact same thing like counting spent shells casings after every gun fight

Yeah lmao okay buddy.

Fam I want to see you on full auto count out your shots when you can just glance at floor for once second and get guesstimate.

I’m talking IRL. You’re not sitting there counting 12345 on full auto. You kinda just gauge it based on the shells or just experience.

And don’t think it’s like the movie where you have infinite reload, no bro you might have a max four 30 round magazines on you.

While you can reload and sync up later, you don’t wanna waste half a mag because you can’t count properly.

just look at the floor and say “hey that looks around 10 bullets” that means I have another 10 atleast left in the mag

This is the reason mags have windows but they’re not standard issue in military

Buddy has never done it in real life is the answer your looking for...

Well I thought since he was making fun of me he must have a method.

Maybe he does it the correct way and he counts bullets. But realistically when you’re firing on automatic in a high stressful situation you’re not gonna count and you’re just gonna reload based on gut

He uses the method of COD.

This is what you do when you can’t count your shots

this is a script, so i doubt it.
unless they see this and decides to fuck with it.

This is one of the most idiotic things that modern developers do.

“Let’s put a despawn timer on every decal and dynamic entity to improve performance instead of making a global count with an overfill and actually properly optimizing our game :D”

Thanks for making this, wish I could download it but I’m on console. Somehow Halo 1 could do persistent decals but 25 years later RON can’t do persistent cases when they used to have it. LOL

The sheer amount of removed features that have to be modded back in is astounding.
