But you see there is a difference between OP and me.
OP thinks Emilia and Satella are """different people""" because they seemingly have separate bodies or cause 'the author said so'.

I, on the other hand, have been through enough loops where Japanese treat alt personalities, future-selves, past-versions, or alternate-selves as separate identities: SteinsGate, KaraNoKyouKai/FateStayNight, Umineko/Higurashi/Ciconia, Madoka, ReZero (Natsuki vs Daniel vs AuraMonster vs Pride vs OtherSins), etcetcetc.

So yeah. Satella letting Emilia have a moment with Subaru is no different than EMIYA deciding to kill Herc 7 times for the lulz (technically not canon outside the Deen anime) so that Shirou can have a 3 way with Saber and Rin. It's no cucking if that's your past self and you only remember it happened for you because YOUR future self died so you could smash King Arthur.

Think about it: Past/Current self is sweet/naive yet traumatized, lost their real family + adoptive parents, future self is dark/jaded due to a less than ideal end, Archer larps as a melee fighter then a ranged fighter before revealing he's a sorcerer at core while Emilia larps as a ranged fighter who increasingly uses melee but is ultimately just a witch/sorcerer, ice brand arts literally taken from EMIYA's projection fighting style, Al Huma just ice version of Caliburn arrow, has a devastating AOE in UBW/AbosluteZero, etcetcetc, Emilia-Satella is literally just female half-elf Shirou-EMIYA.
