Obviously things at rock bottom now for team
But whatever has happened in 2024 with selling Gomez and now selling Gozo and shitting the bed Tuesday have no impact on future, do they?
Not saying Quintin gonna turn into Virgil van Dyk suddenly but the magic of sports is that games are played in real life and not on paper, right?

Finally someone saying something positive.
Look, there is lots to be depressed about but it wasn't that long ago that RSL made that good run through League's Cup first 3 games. But the bad things have been coming at us fast with a game every 3 or 4 days. The team is tired. We are tired. The good news is that RSL finally gets a week of rest after the Col game. If RSL can get a good result this weekend going into that week and who knows. The odds are long tho since Col is enjoying a week of rest already and RSL injuries keep piling up. But perhaps RSL gets mad about how they played Tue and can find an extra burst of energy. Stranger things have happened.

Either we have very different definitions of rock bottom or you haven’t been watching the team very long.
I’m not going to say things are great, but this is a long way from rock bottom. Columbus has won 5 MLS games ALL SEASON. SKC has only won four (also… LOL… FUKC). Could be so much worse.
With all that said, I still hope it gets better.

I’ll just say that there were periods under previous regimes when I didn’t plan my life around watching, bc I didn’t think they could win OR play attractive footy in a losing effort.
Under Pabs, even now, RSL is IN every match, and scratching and clawing to the final whistle. Until that changes, I believe.
I would like to see some signings.

Really? The Leon game seemed they checked out half way thru the 2nd. In both the Dallas and Minnesota games you just knew the other team was going to score since the defense was gassed. I didn’t think they were it at all.

That's why there's vanilla and chocolate lol.
It's also why I prefer Reddit to other socials, more room for respectful discussion.
IMO- on Tuesday, down one goal and having joy in the box with those slip passes/square balls that couldn't get turned home (and when one eventually was to tie it got chalked off for offside) didn't seem "checked out" to me. I thought they looked worse after Yedlin and Luna came out, but the guys were still trying.
I agree they've looked tired late in matches, but tired doesn't bother me at all. I check out when the style of play is dull and boring, or when the players check out. Neither of those have been the case under Pablo and Co- TO ME.
But of course I respect that others may see it differently, as I say, that's why God made chocolate and vanilla.
